The Maserati Birdcage was a project that maserati, Pininferina and motorola, put together for the 2005 Geneva Car Show. It cost around 4 Million dollars to build the actual car and it won "Best of Show" that year in Geneva.
Four of us worked like crazy for two weeks on the cg car sequences. When rendered the sequences were then put into a DVD running footage video that played at the show.
